Whew! Denese is one accomplished (and busy!) woman. So, are you ready to get to work? Here are a few of the things you may find out about her if you take the Major Fitness journey.

Who inspires you to be better?

My son. I know that I'm always setting the example; therefore, I always strive to be the best that I can be.

What’s your greatest achievement and how has it shaped you?
The military. It opened me up to the world and to people. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, helping me do things I would have never considered doing. It also helped me to realize my full potential and talents.

What words of wisdom would you pass to your childhood self?

Believe in yourself!

Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert?

Both! I can recharge and feel at peace alone in my garden, or I can recharge in a class full of people -- especially if it's a fitness class. If I had to choose though, I would say that I'm more of an introvert.

What's one of your personal rules that you never break?

Being authentic! I'm always true to myself!
